Overview Elegant design and purposeful engineering combine in the 2023 Volvo XC60, resulting in a unique option in the luxury SUV class. In addition to its tastefully styled exterior, the XC60’s cabin embodies well-tailored minimalism. Think of it as Prada meets IKEA. Three of his four-cylinder powertrains are offered: a 247-hp B5, a 295-hp B6, and a 455-hp T8 plug-in hybrid. All offer reasonably good fuel economy, good feel behind the wheel, and performance that ranges from lively to downright quick, depending on the powertrain you choose. Technology is also a priority. Volvo comes standard with popular driver assistance and safety features. We’re not fans of his Google-based infotainment interface on the XC60, but it works well enough, even if it’s not particularly appealing to look at. Other compact SUVs are more practical, especially the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, both of which offer more cargo space.
