The Honda Civic Type R is an icon of front-wheel drive performance. But for card-carrying adults (at least those who aren’t masochistic car journalists), it’s a difficult car to own. The Civic Type R’s aesthetics lean too much into the world of boy racers, with the same modifications that help it dance around the track.
