The never-ending quest for better fuel economy has taken its toll on the three-row midsize SUV segment, with new plug-in hybrid versions of popular vehicles flooding the market. In fact, many automakers are revising their previous products to meet the demand for premium PHEVs, such as the 2024 Mazda CX-90 and his 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander.
