The Cadillac brand is one of the longest-running American car brands in the world. The Cadillac Automotive Division was established in 1902 after some of Ford Motor Company’s shareholders dropped out. General Motors acquired the brand in 1909. In its heyday, Cadillac was one of the biggest luxury cars.
