U.S. new vehicle sales remained remarkably stable through the third quarter of 2022. Sales volume in July was 1.14 million units, and in August it was also 1.14 million units. Sales in September decreased slightly to 1.12 million units. In fact, average monthly sales in the third quarter were 1.13 million units.
