Cash-strapped buyers once could choose a new car for $10,000. no longer. But cheap cars aren’t that cheap anymore, with the average new car now costing around $30,000, according to CNW Marketing Research.
Meanwhile, the average used car sold at a franchised dealership in early January 2014 was $10,843.
