What is a Muscle Car?

Although there is no exact definition, traditionally, a muscle car is an American-made (or American-influenced) two-door coupe with a large, powerful engine driving the rear wheels, built with simplicity and affordability in mind. As such, muscle cars have always represented affordable performance for the everyday driver, selling in huge numbers over the years and with passionate fans of certain models and brands.
