Polestar 3 Completes High-temperature Testing, Production Scheduled For Early 2024

The Polestar 3 is several months behind schedule as production has been pushed back from mid-2023 to the first quarter of 2024. {{comments}} Comments September 26, 2023 16:01 The Polestar 3 was introduced almost a year ago, but the electric crossover is slowly moving closer to mass production. The model was originally scheduled to go into production in mid-2023, with deliveries starting around now, but that hasn’t happened since the crossover is still being tested. Specifically, Polestar said its prototype recently spent two weeks in the United Arab Emirates in “extreme heat testing.” These tests were conducted in August as engineers wanted to “fine tune the climate system in the hottest environments.” As such, Polestar 3 was exposed to temperatures of up to 122 °F (50 °C).
