Toyota has recalled approximately 4,200 2023 and 2024 Camry and Camry hybrid sedans due to improper welding on the rear seats, which could cause damage in an accident.
All of the recalled vehicles have rear seats that can be folded down in a 60:40 split. The company has told federal motor vehicle safety authorities that its suppliers may not have taken adequate safety measures.
