- Rivian has announced that production of the R2 will begin in the second quarter of 2026, with mass production to begin later that year.
- Sales of Rivian’s R1S, R1T and commercial vans are expected to be similar to 2025, and Rivian expects R2 deliveries to be between 20,000 and 25,000 units.
- Rivian expects the lower-priced R2 to account for most of that.
