According to Volvo, the approximately 22,000 square meter site will be “the new flagship in a network of development centers and technology hubs around the world.” Volvo Cars also operates software testing centers in Lund (Sweden) and Shanghai (China), but the new center in Gothenburg is by far the largest in terms of size and capacity.
